Dima Loginoff

Dima Loginoff was born in Moscow in 1977. In 1997 Dima has graduated College of Hairdresser’s Art in Moscow then more than 10 years have worked as the stylist. Simultaneously with this Dima took great interest in the photo and multimedia design. However the design of an interior was the main hobby of life. Dima decides to change his life cardinally and in 2008 graduates with honors the International Design School in Moscow and Interior Design School ＂Rhodec＂ (London, UK). At this time Dima Loginoff wins the first places at Design Debut competition in Moscow and St.-Petersburg plenty of times, including the Grand Prix Award in 2007. In 2008 his lamp Curl My Light gets the second place at competition of INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS (iDA) (Los Angeles, CA). In 2009- 2010 14 works of the designer have received awards in competition of INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AND DESIGN AWARDS in Paris, France. The interior Lace Hotel and the chair DOUNYASHA are named as trends of 2010/2011 years by famous British trend-forecaster Victoria Redshou. These works have been shown at different design exhibitions worldwide, including on DECOREX in London in 2009. Year before the felt rug Brushwood by Dima Loginoff was shown for the first time within the framework of ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH in Miami, the USA. Now this work is exposed in galleries AVANT GALLERY in Miami. In 2010 Dima has introduced the lamp on the Milan Fair (Salone Satellite) in Italy and biennale Arch Moscow in Moscow. The works of Dima Loginoff are published in huge number of magazines worldwide, including INTERNI, DOMUS, COLLEZIONE TRENDS, MARIE CLAIRE MAISON, ELLE DECORATION, HARPER’S BAZAAR, ESQUIRE, GLAMOURE, ICON, AD, etc. For today in the world there are five books with works of the designer. Famous trend agency Agenda Inc. (Paris, New York), working with leading world brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Karl Lagerfeld, Dior, Vivienne Westwood, Sony and so forth named Dima Loginoff the designer of shockingly beautiful things. In 2010 Dima has received the prestigious nomination ＂YOUNG DESIGNER OF THE YEAR＂ in the international competition ELLE DECORATION INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS. The leading Russian magazine ＂Interior+design＂ has included Dima Loginoff in the ＂twelve gold＂ dozen of rising stars of world design which will define the design of next decade. In the autumn 2009 Dima together in others known designers of Russia has taken part in the charitable art project of the STARS DRAW, means from which have gone on purchase of accessories to development of creative abilities of children in orphaned houses. Today Dima Loginoff, besides creation of new projects gives the master class and seminars, his master class “the Basic errors of beginning designers” became the present best seller at the International Design School and on biennale Arch Moscow in the Central House of the Artist.
